(Dear exporters and judges):Good morning!
I’m Liu Yan,I’m an English teacher from Sichuan Vocational College of Culture Industries).I’m very happy and excited.Accturelly i am a little neverous right now . It’s my great honor to be here to present my lesson. And I’ll try my best.Please point out and give directions to me whenever you see any weaknesses or shortages within. Now I’ll say“ Unit 3 Section A”Wealth 、Success or Love ,I’ll prepare to say the lesson from the following five parts: Analysis of teaching material、Teching contents and difficulties、Teaching Objectives、Teaching Methods and Teaching Procedure.
First :(Analysis of teaching material教材選用)
Our choice of material is the New Horizon English Course,It is pubblished by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press in 2012.It suits for all kinds of National institutions of Higher Vocational Colleges。
This lesson is the first one of Unit 3.So if the Students can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Students learn the rest of this unit.Such a topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English.
The second part
(contents and difficulties教學(xué)內容與重難點(diǎn))
This lesson is Unit 3 Section A:Wealth, Success or Love?It contains new words、sentence structure and general idea.
There are two main sentence structure of this lesson. First one ,Object clauses that leaded by the word“What”.Second,The usage of Why don’t we/you…?
The difficulties of this lesson is to overcome students’fear of speaking Einglish.
Third (Teaching Objectives教學(xué)目標)
We set up a three-dimentional objectives :1、知識目標(Knowledge Objective):要求學(xué)生掌握重點(diǎn)單詞、詞組、重要句型、語(yǔ)法,會(huì )翻譯句子2、能力目標(Ability Objective):培養學(xué)生聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀等綜合應用能力3、素質(zhì)目標(Moral Objective):寓教于樂(lè ),讓學(xué)生在故事中獲得學(xué)習英語(yǔ)的樂(lè )趣和積極性,同時(shí)樹(shù)立關(guān)于財富、成功與愛(ài)的正確價(jià)值觀(guān)和人生觀(guān)。
Fourth (Teaching Methods教學(xué)方法)
因為我所授課的對象都是高職高專(zhuān)的藝術(shù)類(lèi)學(xué)生,考慮到學(xué)生英語(yǔ)基礎較差、自學(xué)能力弱、英語(yǔ)學(xué)習興趣不高、依賴(lài)性強等學(xué)情,所以我主要采用中文為主,英文為輔的教學(xué)方法。在保證學(xué)生基礎語(yǔ)法鞏固的同時(shí),注重學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)習興趣的培養和適用技能的提高。主要運用的教學(xué)手段有:翻譯法、視聽(tīng)法、游戲法、討論法。
通過(guò)這些教學(xué)手段使學(xué)生從一個(gè)被動(dòng)聽(tīng)者轉變成一個(gè)積極參與者;使教師從單純的'知識灌輸者轉化為課堂組織者。把“教、學(xué)、做”的一體化教學(xué)模式充分運用到本課教學(xué)中。
Fifth (Teaching Procedure教學(xué)過(guò)程)
為了達到教學(xué)目標的要求,本次課堂我準備從以下六個(gè)環(huán)節展開(kāi)。
I. Leading-In 導入
1、播放好萊塢經(jīng)典愛(ài)情電影視頻《泰坦尼克號》
2、提問(wèn):(要求學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)回答)
What’s the name of the film?
Can you tell us what the story is about?
3、展示其他經(jīng)典的愛(ài)情故事的圖片:羅密歐與朱麗葉等
4、開(kāi)放式提問(wèn)(open-ended questions):What is love do you think? (學(xué)生可以有不同的理解和回答,各抒己見(jiàn)。)
II. Skimming & Scanning 快速閱讀,找出文章大意
1、給出任務(wù):What is the story about?(這個(gè)故事講的是什么?)
2、讓學(xué)生快速閱讀,給出答案
3、以學(xué)習小組為單位,討論本課大意
4、向其中一到兩組學(xué)生提問(wèn),要求用英語(yǔ)回答本課大意。糾正明顯語(yǔ)言錯誤。
III. Detailed reading 細節閱讀,理解文章結構和關(guān)鍵信息
給出任務(wù):分析文章結構
提問(wèn):How many parts are included in this text?
IV.Language points and Acting 鞏固語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)和表演
任務(wù)一、鞏固重要單詞和短語(yǔ),要求學(xué)生做簡(jiǎn)單的句子翻譯練習
任務(wù)二、Role play 角色扮演
以學(xué)習小組為單位,抽兩個(gè)小組進(jìn)行角色扮演。
V.Conclusion 歸納主題思想,播放音樂(lè )(5分鐘)
歸納主題:文章最后一段:Wherever there is love, there is also wealth and success. 哪里有愛(ài),哪里就有財富和成功。
