【教材分析】
本單元以“My future”為話(huà)題展開(kāi)教學(xué)，通過(guò)發(fā)現自己的特長(cháng)，預測自己的職業(yè)，提建議，談理想抱負等一系列的活動(dòng)，讓學(xué)生學(xué)習掌握有關(guān)職業(yè)與理想的詞匯，幫助學(xué)生樹(shù)立正確的職業(yè)觀(guān)、人生觀(guān)和價(jià)值觀(guān)。本課是本單元第三課時(shí)， 通過(guò)Danny和Jenny玩“建議寶石”游戲及其對話(huà)，幫助學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì )給別人提建議。
【教學(xué)目標】
1.知識目標：掌握詞匯及短語(yǔ)：advice, diamond ，choose, number, seventeen, eighteen, opposite,be nice to, advice diamond,.
2.能力目標：學(xué)會(huì )給別人提建議
3.德育目標：營(yíng)造民主和諧的學(xué)習氛圍，激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習欲望；通過(guò)小組競賽，學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì )和他人的合作；通過(guò)給別人提建議，明白要實(shí)現自己的理想，必須要努力奮斗。同時(shí)，學(xué)會(huì )正確處理娛樂(lè )與學(xué)習之間的關(guān)系。
【教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)】
1.部分關(guān)于游戲的詞匯advice, diamond ，choose, number, seventeen, eighteen, opposite
2.重點(diǎn)句型：Fast is the opposite of slow
Always be nice to your dinosaur friends.
3.難點(diǎn)：給別人提建議。

Step 1 Warming-up and lead in
1. Free talk “It’s sunny today.isn’t it ? I’m very glad to see you. Are you happy? Please smile to your partener.
(設計意圖：課前溝通，拉近與學(xué)生的心理距離，同時(shí)消除學(xué)生的緊張情緒)
2.Play a picture game“Can you name their jobs?”Get students to Write down their jobs as fast as possible..
(設計意圖：通過(guò)游戲復習關(guān)于職業(yè)的詞匯，激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習興趣，同時(shí)幫助學(xué)生集中注意力)
3. Ask“What do you want to do in the future ?”
�。ㄔO計意圖：檢查關(guān)于職業(yè)詞匯的掌握情況，同時(shí)激發(fā)學(xué)生對美好未來(lái)的向往）
Step 2 Presentation
1.Ask “Do you want to know what you will do when you grow up ?”Let my “future diamond”tell you.
Take out a paper diamond and tell Students it’s a “future diamond”, If you want to know your future job, just choose a color and a number. Then it will tell you the result.
Encourage some students to play the game.
(設計意圖：借助“future diamond”，教學(xué)生如何玩“diamond”游戲，既是往新課的'引入，又活躍課堂氣氛，激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習興趣)
2.Tell students having dream is very good ,but we must do something to achieve our dream.
Show some dreams ,get student to give them some advice to achieve the dreams.

2.Get students to read aloud, and then read after the tape,imitate the intonation.
(設計意圖：通過(guò)朗讀和跟讀，模仿地道的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調，一方面激發(fā)學(xué)生的說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的興趣，另一方面，幫助學(xué)生掌握正確的發(fā)音方法)
3.Complete the short passage according to the lesson.
Danny and Jenny are playing with their advice_______. Danny shows Jenny his diamond and asks Jenny ___ ____a colour. Jenny chooses_______,and then chooses the number _____.Under the number,It says”Fast is the _______of slow”.That’s not _____,but a fact.
So ,they do it again.Jenny chooses green and a new______,It says”______you a wonderful future.”That’s a wish,not advice.
Jenny has to pick ______number.It says”Always be ______to your dinosaur friends.” That’s very good advice.

Make your own advice diamond and play with it after class.
But school work must come first.
