《Happy Birthday to You!》教學(xué)設計范文
教學(xué)內容:EEC小學(xué)英語(yǔ)教材第四冊第五課《Happy Birthday to You!》的第二課時(shí)。
教材分析:
EEC小學(xué)英語(yǔ)教材以故事為情境,以話(huà)題為單元。本單元以生日為話(huà)題,本課時(shí)是在學(xué)生初步掌握祝賀生日用語(yǔ)的基礎上,讓學(xué)生熟練掌握祝賀朋友的生日并贈送禮物時(shí)的對話(huà),同時(shí)培養學(xué)生善于表達謝意的生活禮節。本課時(shí)的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是是使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì )說(shuō)“請某人做某事”的簡(jiǎn)單用語(yǔ)及表達自己的喜好。
學(xué)情分析:
本課的教學(xué)對象是小學(xué)四年級的學(xué)生,他們具有一定的英語(yǔ)基礎、模仿能力和記憶能力較強,活潑好動(dòng),對英語(yǔ)有濃厚的興趣,聽(tīng)和說(shuō)的習慣較好,愛(ài)唱、愛(ài)游戲、愛(ài)活動(dòng)是他們的天性。而本課時(shí)的內容貼近學(xué)生生活,學(xué)生對過(guò)生日很感興趣,積極性高,從而為學(xué)生明確學(xué)習目標,為完成教學(xué)任務(wù)奠定了基礎。因此,教師應善于激發(fā)其學(xué)習興趣,用熱情感染他們,用活動(dòng)吸引他們,用貼近生活的任務(wù)調動(dòng)他們,發(fā)揮其優(yōu)勢,全面提高學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)能力及綜合素養。
設計理念:
《英語(yǔ)新課程標準》強調重視學(xué)生實(shí)際語(yǔ)言運用能力的培養,倡導任務(wù)型的教學(xué)活動(dòng)。在教學(xué)中,注重創(chuàng )設真實(shí)的情境,力求通過(guò)課堂虛擬的birthday party. 使學(xué)生在玩中學(xué)、學(xué)中用,從而促進(jìn)語(yǔ)言能力的提高,以培養學(xué)生真實(shí)交際的能力。由此,在教學(xué)設計中我力求體現以學(xué)生為主體,以情境為主線(xiàn),以交際為目的的教學(xué)特色。
Teaching Aims:
根據新課程標準對知識與技能、情感態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀(guān)三者統一的要求,結合對教材的認真分析和對學(xué)生的了解,本著(zhù)為了每個(gè)學(xué)生的發(fā)展的宗旨,將本節課的教學(xué)目標,確定為以下三個(gè)方面:
1.Knowledge(知識):使學(xué)生掌握重點(diǎn)單詞candle(s)/blow out/ robot(s)學(xué)生能熟練掌握重點(diǎn)句型:Blow out all the candles. Wow. It’s a robot. I like making robots.
2.Ability(能力):能夠靈活運用贈送及收到禮物時(shí)的'句子。自然地運用感謝及回應的用語(yǔ)。
3.Feeling(情感):通過(guò)贈送禮物,使學(xué)生知道友情的可貴,同時(shí)培養學(xué)生善于表達謝意的生活禮節。
Important points:祝賀朋友的生日并贈送禮物時(shí)的對話(huà)。
Difficult points:熟練掌握所學(xué)句型,培養綜合語(yǔ)言運用能力。
Teaching aids:recorder,tape,a birthday hat, a birthday cake, candles, some picture and some presents,etc.
Teaching steps:
Step1: Warming -up/revision:
1) Greeting: Hello! Everybody. Nice to meet you.
2) Divide the groups: team pink, team red, team blue.
3) Warming-up: Sing “Ten Little Candles dance”
[設計意圖:學(xué)生剛上課時(shí),還沒(méi)有進(jìn)入學(xué)英語(yǔ)的狀態(tài)。這時(shí)教師和學(xué)生進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的英語(yǔ)會(huì )話(huà)或者唱一支英語(yǔ)歌是必要的。所以,在課上我安排了師生相互問(wèn)候,唱英語(yǔ)歌曲“Ten Little Candles dance”,營(yíng)造一種輕松的學(xué)習氛圍。同時(shí)通過(guò)分成三組,使學(xué)生盡快地進(jìn)入到英語(yǔ)學(xué)習的氛圍當中,為下面的學(xué)習做了鋪墊。]
Step 2、Presentation:
1) Conversation:
T:Today is S1’s birthday.
Show a birthday hat, Give S1 put on the birthday hat. point the title. Guide Ss say“Happy birthday to you”and handclap.
T&Ss: Sing“A Birthday Song.”
Give S1 a birthday cake.
T: How old are you?
S1: I’m eleven.
T: Interpolation and count eleven candles.
Ss: Look at the candles and count eleven candles.
T: Light the candles and count the candles.
Ss: Look at the candles and count eleven candles.

[設計意圖:創(chuàng )設情境,導入新知。聯(lián)系生活中的情景學(xué)習英語(yǔ)知識,會(huì )令學(xué)生感到更親切自然。通過(guò)給過(guò)生日的同學(xué)開(kāi)birthday party. 為學(xué)生戴生日帽、送生日蛋糕、唱生日歌、數生日蠟燭等活動(dòng),大大吸引了學(xué)生的注意力。讓學(xué)生在參與看、聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、唱等活動(dòng)中感知語(yǔ)言。這樣的設計給學(xué)生一種真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習的氛圍,能激起其學(xué)習興趣,為順利完成句型操練奠定情感基礎。]
2)To learn the phrases:“blow out”. Follow me. blow out.
T: Spell the letter. Ss: Say pronunciation.
T: Say pronunciation. Ss: Spell the letter.
T: blow out (say and do). Then point Ss to say and do.
T: Say pronunciation. Ss: Spell the letter.
T: Write the phrases on the blackboard.
3) To learn the phrases:“all the candles”
Look at the card“candles”, and learn to spell and say.
T: (Show a candle) one candle
(To point some candles) candles. All the candles.
Point Ss remember the candles.
T: Write “all the candles”on the blackboard.
[設計意圖:巧用TPR,學(xué)祈使句 全身反應法即TPR, 是通過(guò)身體動(dòng)作教語(yǔ)言的方法,強調言語(yǔ)與動(dòng)作的協(xié)調配合。運用TPR學(xué)習“Blow out ”, 給學(xué)生創(chuàng )造輕松愉快的學(xué)習氛圍,讓學(xué)生在做中學(xué),也在學(xué)中做。讓學(xué)生一邊做動(dòng)作,一邊說(shuō)短語(yǔ)“blow out”。一邊指所有的蠟燭一邊說(shuō)短語(yǔ)“all the candles.”這樣的設計給學(xué)生一種真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習的氛圍,能激起其學(xué)習興趣。]
4) To learn the words “robot” and“robots”
T: Showing the box. What’s this in it? Guess, please.

[設計意圖:利用實(shí)物,學(xué)習語(yǔ)言 玩具機器人的出現,化抽象為具體、直觀(guān),使學(xué)生形象地感知單詞“robot”。通過(guò)出示兩個(gè)機器人,使學(xué)生自然地感知單詞復數的變化“robots”。這樣的設計加深了學(xué)生對單詞的感知。通過(guò)教師重新組裝機器人,使學(xué)生形象、直觀(guān)地理解句型“I like making robots.”達到了省時(shí)、高效教學(xué)的目的。]

[設計意圖:猜測游戲,操練語(yǔ)言
為了保持學(xué)生持久的注意力,我設計了學(xué)生最感興趣的“Guess”游戲。教師利用畫(huà)有空心問(wèn)號的卡片,將其蓋在圖片上,學(xué)生只能從問(wèn)號所露出的那一部分進(jìn)行猜測活動(dòng)。而且通過(guò)快速移動(dòng)磁鐵塊,訓練學(xué)生的反應能力及表達能力。.在這個(gè)活動(dòng)中,既達到了高效學(xué)習的目的,又發(fā)展了學(xué)生的思維能力。]

7)Lottery Game:

You’re welcome.” 由此,我設計了抽獎的游戲,在這個(gè)活動(dòng)中,學(xué)生的學(xué)習興趣空前高漲,在不知不覺(jué)中“I like…”句型得到充分的運用。激發(fā)了學(xué)生主動(dòng)學(xué)習的愿望,樹(shù)立自信心,同時(shí)學(xué)生的聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力及競爭意識得到極大地提高。]
