Today is my mother's birthday. My father and I wanted to give her surprising birthday presents.
In the morning we went to the shop and bought a big cake. Then we went to the market and bought some food that mother liked very much. After getting home, we began to prepare our presents. Father went into the kitchen to prepare a big meal while I went into my room to make a birthday card. I drew three rabbits biggest one was eating grass while the other two were playing happily under a big tree. To tell you the truth, it was my family because all of us were born in the year of rabbit.It was almost 12 o'clock. The delicious food on the table made my mouth water. Everything was ready. We seated ourselves at the table, waiting for my mother. When we heardthe sound of opening the door, we hid behind the door and cheered, "Happy Birthday!" as soon as mother came in.Mother was seated at the table and I showed her my present. She looked at it and smiled. "Have a taste of the delicious food. It was made by Father himself."I said. Mother looked at my father and me, picking up her chopsticks.

因為學(xué)得非常好，曾小雨看上去要比一般人都輕松、快樂(lè )、自由，知識面也廣。小學(xué)三四年級時(shí)，她就讀完了全套中文版《哈利波特》，其它的世界名著(zhù)更是讀了不少。小學(xué)畢業(yè)之前就把全套英文版《哈利波特》讀完了。

曾小雨的爸爸在北京工作，媽媽在濰坊的醫院工作，平時(shí)很忙，但是不論多忙，兩口子都沒(méi)有忽視小雨的成長(cháng)。剛上小學(xué)，媽媽就很重視她的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習。曾小雨在雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校上小學(xué)，英語(yǔ)課比一般學(xué)校要多。媽媽謙虛地說(shuō)自己聽(tīng)不懂英語(yǔ)，但會(huì )給孩子買(mǎi)各種英語(yǔ)書(shū)和磁帶。家里在任何時(shí)候都放著(zhù)英語(yǔ)磁帶，不強求孩子聽(tīng)，但是一直放著(zhù)，培養孩子的語(yǔ)感。
當很多孩子的家長(cháng)看那些肥皂劇，孩子也跟著(zhù)上癮，連做作業(yè)都寫(xiě)不安穩，心里總想著(zhù)電視劇的情節及后面的劇情時(shí)，小雨的媽媽卻在給孩子放英語(yǔ)磁帶聽(tīng)，不是逼孩子坐下來(lái)安靜地聽(tīng)，而是不管吃飯、洗涮，還是睡前，都給孩子打開(kāi)錄音機，放上英語(yǔ)磁帶。當小雨有了一定的詞匯量，媽媽就和她一起看英文頻道的新聞。
對于她們來(lái)說(shuō)，學(xué)好英語(yǔ)很簡(jiǎn)單，就是得多聽(tīng)多看多說(shuō)。簡(jiǎn)單，但是要堅持。
很多學(xué)生不愛(ài)學(xué)英語(yǔ)，因為我們中國學(xué)生在學(xué)英語(yǔ)的過(guò)程中，常常是前一個(gè)步驟還沒(méi)學(xué)就學(xué)下一個(gè)步驟，就像沒(méi)學(xué)會(huì )爬就先學(xué)跑。比如有好多中學(xué)生沒(méi)經(jīng)過(guò)學(xué)習字母、音標的過(guò)程，以至于到了大學(xué)連字母的讀音都讀不正確，音標也認不全。許多學(xué)生到了初高中見(jiàn)了有音標的單詞自己也不會(huì )讀，只是聽(tīng)老師怎樣讀，自己就死記住單詞的讀音。
學(xué)習任何一門(mén)功課都是循序漸進(jìn)的，可在學(xué)英語(yǔ)時(shí)，我們學(xué)習的某些步驟被中斷了。因為這些步驟的中斷，學(xué)起來(lái)就比較困難，這也就是為什么有許多聰明的孩子數理化學(xué)得很好，就是對英語(yǔ)不感興趣。
無(wú)論在哪個(gè)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習階段，如果字母、音標不熟的話(huà)，就該回過(guò)頭去補上這一課，因為這是最基礎最容易學(xué)習的，我們不能因為容易就輕視這些最簡(jiǎn)單最基礎的知識學(xué)習，而學(xué)好這些能達到事半功倍的效果。
有的學(xué)生學(xué)的是啞巴英語(yǔ)，只是看，不讀，也不寫(xiě)，這是事倍功半的方法。請你記住，學(xué)英語(yǔ)，要大聲朗讀。
還有的同學(xué)死記單詞，碰到比較長(cháng)的生詞，一下子就想記住，連續不停地寫(xiě)十遍二十遍，越寫(xiě)越心煩，越懷疑自己的記憶能力，這種學(xué)習方法在大學(xué)里都存在。碰到比較長(cháng)的單詞不要死記，寫(xiě)一兩遍，下一次碰到有個(gè)印象就行，有了印象，再遇到時(shí)就比較容易記住，而且你還可以過(guò)一段時(shí)間再復習。
學(xué)好英語(yǔ)的方法有很多,可歸結如下:
1、定期學(xué)習。每天學(xué)習一會(huì )兒比一周集中學(xué)幾個(gè)小時(shí)效果要好。所以請你每天擠出一點(diǎn)時(shí)間讀寫(xiě)英語(yǔ)。要記住一篇課文，每天讀兩遍，一個(gè)星期就能讀14遍，這樣的記憶效果更佳，可是你把這些工作量集中在一個(gè)時(shí)間段落內完成，一上午讀一篇課文14遍，只能讓你產(chǎn)生厭煩情緒，而且記憶效果還不行。
�。�、通過(guò)上下文記單詞，別靠死記單詞表。有的同學(xué)一見(jiàn)到課文生詞多就一個(gè)一個(gè)地記憶，并一次把每個(gè)單詞寫(xiě)上十遍二十遍，還咒罵自己記憶力不行，其實(shí)不如一次記憶很多單詞多重復幾遍效果更佳。
�。�、不管對課文理解了多少，盡可能多讀。一個(gè)單詞出現在不同課文中三遍，你就能對這個(gè)單詞有深刻的印象，可你讀同一篇課文把這個(gè)單詞讀上十遍也不一定記住。
4、學(xué)會(huì )使用一些常用短語(yǔ)。
5、使用不同版本的教材。包括閱讀用的、聽(tīng)力用的和語(yǔ)法用的。變化學(xué)習所用的教材，看不同的.書(shū)，會(huì )更有興趣學(xué)。
6、盡可能手寫(xiě)。拼寫(xiě)通過(guò)手指是最容易被記住的，正是移動(dòng)的鋼筆寫(xiě)字時(shí)的記憶有助于正確拼寫(xiě)。所以建議你抄寫(xiě)句子或課文，抄寫(xiě)也是一種思考方式。
7、經(jīng)常拿出以前的課本翻翻看看，這樣省去查詞典的時(shí)間，還給你一種學(xué)好英語(yǔ)很容易的感覺(jué)。
