一、教材分析
本模塊的話(huà)題是發(fā)出慶祝生日活動(dòng)的邀請。本單元的課文情境是Amy發(fā)給Lingling的生日邀請函,她要過(guò)11歲的生日了。Lingling問(wèn)Amy打算如何慶祝,Amy說(shuō)要和大家一起吃午餐,媽媽會(huì )給她做蛋糕。Sam說(shuō)午餐后大家會(huì )一起講故事,Amy接著(zhù)說(shuō)隨后會(huì )去看電影。這時(shí)Ms Smart提醒孩子們在做這些事情之前要先幫她整理屋子,孩子們愉快的答應了。語(yǔ)言學(xué)習任務(wù)是運用已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)的“I’m going to…”結構描述計劃并發(fā)出邀請。
二、學(xué)情分析
五年級學(xué)生的年齡在十一到十二歲左右,雖然處于高年級學(xué)段,但仍然活潑好動(dòng),喜歡直觀(guān)形象思維和抽象思維相結合,對游戲、競賽、畫(huà)畫(huà)還有興趣。大部分學(xué)生對英語(yǔ)有著(zhù)較濃厚的學(xué)習興趣,但也有少數學(xué)生由于遇到困難,學(xué)習興趣會(huì )隨之減弱。尤其從這學(xué)期開(kāi)始,對學(xué)生又提出了新的'要求:培養聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)的技能。所以教師應該面向全體學(xué)生,以學(xué)生的發(fā)展為宗旨,始終把激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習興趣放在首位,引導學(xué)生端正學(xué)習態(tài)度,掌握良好的學(xué)習方法,培養學(xué)生良好的學(xué)習習慣。五年級學(xué)生還存在著(zhù)學(xué)習方法和學(xué)習策略經(jīng)驗不足等問(wèn)題,但他們卻有著(zhù)極強的求知欲強和表現欲。課上應該多以表?yè)P為主,注重對學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)習興趣的培養,鼓勵他們大膽說(shuō)、積極做、認真想。
三、 教學(xué)目標
1. 知識目標
(1) 學(xué)生能夠掌握四會(huì )單詞和句型結構。
New words: stories、 invitation、tidy up
Sentence structures: What are we going to do?
We’re going to tell stories.
(2) 根據圖片和情境說(shuō)出單詞和句子。
(3) 在圖文或場(chǎng)景下進(jìn)行課文的復述或者相似內容的閱讀。
2、能力目標
(1)在生活中正確運用英語(yǔ)慶祝生日。
(2)學(xué)生能描述將要發(fā)生的事情并與別人談?wù)、制作活?dòng)計劃表。
3、情感目標:
培養學(xué)生能夠按時(shí)整理自己的房間及物品的好習慣。
培養學(xué)生在做每件事之前要學(xué)會(huì )制定計劃的良好習慣。
四、 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)
運用“What are we going to do? We’re going to …”描述將要的做的事情,學(xué)會(huì )制定計劃。
五、 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)
學(xué)生能描述將要發(fā)生的事情并與別人談?wù)、?wèn)答,表達自己的想法。

設計意圖:復習”be going to”結構的各個(gè)人稱(chēng)。
Step2 Lead-in

T: Today, Let’s learn the new lesson: Module 4 Unit 1 We’re going to tell stories.

11 years ago, a beautiful girl was born in England. These are her family. Her parents: Ms. Smart and Mr. Smart. Her brothers: Sam and Tom. Who is she?
T: Yes! She is Amy.
T: Her birthday is coming. She’s going to be 11.
設計意圖:通過(guò)游戲猜故事的名字激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣,引出課題,理解“tell stories”的同時(shí),自然引出課文內容。
Step3 Presentation
T: I’ve got an invitation from Amy. She’s going to have a birthday party.
Do you want to go with me?
T: Who can read “invitation”, I’ll give it to you.
學(xué)習操練“invitation”:
全班,小組,分音節讀in-vi-ta-tion,個(gè)人,讀對獲得請帖。
將詞放入句子中,詞——句子——長(cháng)句:
Invitation——It’s an invitation——It’s an invitation for birthday party.
T: Wonderful! All of you can go with me! Let’s go!
設計意圖:通過(guò)多種方式操練單詞“Invitation”,突破難點(diǎn),由詞到句,在語(yǔ)境中操練理解詞匯。

Step4. Practise

設計意圖:看圖造句,對一般將來(lái)時(shí)“be going to”結構進(jìn)行鞏固操練。
2. Grammar.
be going to+動(dòng)詞原形
I用am, you用are,
is 用于她他它,單數is,復數are。
設計意圖:通過(guò)對課文知識點(diǎn)的進(jìn)一步分析,歸納“be going to”的用法。
3. Make a plan.
Discussion:

Make a plan:
Picnic Plan

Write a plan:
There are three themes: Picnic, Party, Sports Day.
Four students a group, choose one theme and write your plan.
設計意圖:以小組為單位制定一個(gè)計劃,先討論,再寫(xiě)下來(lái),提高學(xué)生口語(yǔ)表達能力的同時(shí),訓練書(shū)面表達能力。
