【背景知識】
▲ 國際奧比斯組織
國際奧比斯組織 (Prect Orbis -- ORBIS) 是一個(gè)致力于為世界各國盲人和眼疾患者恢復光明的國際性慈善機構，它的宗旨是“使全球失明者重見(jiàn)光明”。
這個(gè)組織的國際奧比斯眼科飛行醫院是世界第一所飛機眼科醫院。該院于1982年3月在美國休思敦正式建立，它是由一架DC—8型飛機改裝而成，內部設有預檢室、檢查室、微型手術(shù)室、護理室等手術(shù)設備，既可施行手術(shù)又可從事示范教學(xué)、并通過(guò)雙向通訊設備，直接與示范醫生進(jìn)行問(wèn)答。奧比斯組織總部設在紐約。在休斯敦、倫敦、加拿大和香港設有辦事處，并配備了從美國及其他地區選出的一批擁有高級技術(shù)的醫生、護士、工程師、機師、影視制作人員等為隨機人員。
自1982年成立以來(lái)，來(lái)自29個(gè)國家的600多位世界一流的眼科專(zhuān)家，先后訪(fǎng)問(wèn)了四大洲70多個(gè)國家和地區，使２萬(wàn)名眼疾患者在專(zhuān)機上進(jìn)行手術(shù)治療，使他們重見(jiàn)光明，并有３萬(wàn)多名各國眼科醫生、護士參與了它的訓練計劃，使之成為推行防盲、治盲的骨干。
國際奧比斯組織（ORBIS）是一個(gè)中立的、非盈利的國際人道主義發(fā)展組織。迄今為止，已環(huán)繞地球四次，在八十余個(gè)國家完成了超過(guò)500項防盲治盲醫療活動(dòng)，將最新的防盲技術(shù)傳授給五萬(wàn)多名眼科醫生和護士。
此部分以采訪(fǎng)的形式向學(xué)生介紹了奧比斯醫生的工作。學(xué)生能進(jìn)一步學(xué)習采訪(fǎng)記錄這一文體，同時(shí)也能了解慈善組織奧比斯的`工作。
