英語(yǔ)日記最重要的就是要正確書(shū)寫(xiě)日記的格式，尤其是在考試中，日記的格式相當重要。英語(yǔ)日記的格式與漢語(yǔ)日記的格式大致相同，在每篇日記的第一行寫(xiě)上日期、星期和天氣，接下來(lái)寫(xiě)內容。日期、星期和天氣的書(shū)寫(xiě)要注意以下幾個(gè)方面：
1、年、月、日都寫(xiě)時(shí)，通常以月、日、年為順序，月份可以縮寫(xiě)，日和年用逗號隔開(kāi)。例如：December.18.20xx或者Dec.18.20xx.
2、如果要寫(xiě)星期，星期要緊挨日期，它既可以放在日期前面，也可以放在日期后面，星期也可以省略不寫(xiě)。星期和日期之間不用標點(diǎn)，但要空一格，星期也可縮寫(xiě)。例如：Thursday Dec.18.20xx或Dec.18.20xx Thursday
3、天氣情況必不可少。天氣一般用一個(gè)形容詞如：Sunny，Fine，Rainy，Snowy等表示。天氣通常位于日記的右上角。

用英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)日記應注意哪些方面的問(wèn)題呢？
1、注意日期、星期和天氣的書(shū)寫(xiě)位置。
日期和星期要寫(xiě)在正文的左上角，其順序多是“星期 + 月、日、年”，也有把星期放在后面的，如“20xx年11月22日，星期一”可寫(xiě)為“ Monday November 22.20xx 或 November 22.20xx Monday ”。天氣情況應寫(xiě)在正文的右上角，如：Fine，Rainy，Cloudy，Windy 等。
2、關(guān)于標題的書(shū)寫(xiě)。
在日期和天氣的下一行中間可以寫(xiě)上日記小標題，也可以不寫(xiě)標題。
3、關(guān)于正文的`書(shū)寫(xiě)。
正文是關(guān)于一天生活的記載，也是日記的主題。在書(shū)寫(xiě)正文時(shí)要做到：
1 ）要選擇當天感受最深刻、最有意義的事件來(lái)描述，不要寫(xiě)成簡(jiǎn)單的流水帳；
2 ）日記的內容多是親身經(jīng)歷和耳聞目睹的事情，所以要用第一人稱(chēng)來(lái)寫(xiě)；
3 ）日記多是在當天晚上來(lái)記述當天發(fā)生過(guò)的事情，因為動(dòng)詞時(shí)態(tài)常使用過(guò)去時(shí)，但使用時(shí)必須靈活掌握，如景物描寫(xiě)、議論某事、對話(huà)引語(yǔ)等要使用現在時(shí)態(tài)；
4 ）日記應以時(shí)間發(fā)生的先后順序來(lái)展開(kāi)，并且要簡(jiǎn)明扼要，條理清楚，寫(xiě)出真實(shí)感。
