respect的用法：

　　1、用作及物動(dòng)詞

　　We must respect other people's feelings.

　　我們必須尊重他人的感情。

　　I promise to respect your wishes.

　　我答應尊重你的意愿。

　　2、用作賓補動(dòng)詞

　　I respect him as my teacher.

　　我把他尊為師長(cháng)。

　　He was highly respected as a judge and as a man.

　　作為一個(gè)法官,作為一個(gè)人,他都受到高度的尊敬。

　　Please allow me to express warm welcome to our respected friends.

　　請允許我向我們尊敬的朋友們表示熱烈的歡迎。

　　3、用作名詞(n.)

　　He fought bravely in many battles and gained their respect.

　　他在多次戰斗中表現勇敢而贏(yíng)得了他們的尊敬。

　　Please send them my respects when you write.
