so that引導結果狀語(yǔ)從句

　　So that “因此，所以”，引導一個(gè)表示結果的狀語(yǔ)從句，此時(shí)不能與in order that 換用;從句中謂語(yǔ)根據需要使用相應的事態(tài)，主從句之間可有逗號相隔。本文開(kāi)頭所列舉例子中so that 就是這種用法。

　　例句：

　　Bend the wire so that it forms a 'V'.

　　把鐵絲彎成V形。

　　Can you work it so that we get free tickets?

　　你能不能為我們搞到些免費票？

　　Bess spoke up, smiling so that her dimples showed.

　　貝絲大聲發(fā)言，微笑著(zhù)，使臉上露出了兩個(gè)酒窩。
