whether的用法：

　　1、whether可以表示“是否”，引導賓語(yǔ)從句。

　　You may wonder whether it is true.

　　你可能想知道它是否是真的。

　　2、當引導的從句中出現or not時(shí)，通常用whether。

　　I'm wondering whether you will come to my party or not tomorrow.

　　我想知道你明天是否來(lái)參加我的聚會(huì )。

　　3、to+動(dòng)詞的結構（即動(dòng)詞不定式）前只能用whether。

　　Have you decided whether to accept the offer yet?

　　你決定好是否接受那個(gè)報價(jià)了嗎？

　　4、介詞prep.后只能用whether。

　　We're discussing the problem of whether to accept the offer.

　　我們正在討論關(guān)于是否接受報價(jià)的問(wèn)題。

　　5、當賓語(yǔ)從句提到句首表示強調時(shí)，只能用whether引導。

　　Whether they can finish the work on time is still a problem.

　　他們是否能按時(shí)完成他們的工作還是個(gè)問(wèn)題。

　　6、只能用whether引導主語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)或同位語(yǔ)從句。

　　The question is whether they will support the plan.

　　問(wèn)題是他們是否會(huì )支持這個(gè)計劃。

　　The question,whether we need it,has not yet been considered.

　　我們是否需要它這個(gè)問(wèn)題還沒(méi)有被考慮到。
