愛(ài)，成功與財富
A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said,"I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."
一位婦人走出房門(mén)，看到三位白胡子老人坐在她家的前院里。她并不認識他們。她說(shuō)：“雖然我不知道你們是誰(shuí)，但你們一定餓了，快進(jìn)來(lái)吃點(diǎn)東西吧�！�
"We do not go into a house together," they replied.
“我們從不一起進(jìn)到一戶(hù)人家里去，”他們答到。
"Why is that?" she wanted to know.
“為什么？”女人想知道怎么回事。
One of the old men explained, "His name is Wealth," he said, pointing to one of his friends, and then pointed to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."
其中一位老人指了指他的一個(gè)朋友，解釋說(shuō)：“他的名字叫財富，”然后，又指著(zhù)另一個(gè)說(shuō)：“他叫成功，而我叫愛(ài)�！苯又�(zhù)他又補充道：“進(jìn)去和你的丈夫商量一下，你們想請我們中的.哪一個(gè)到你家做客？”
After some heated discussion, the husband and wife decided to have their home be filled with love. The woman went out and asked them,"Who is Love? Please come in and be our guest."
經(jīng)過(guò)一番激烈的討論，丈夫和妻子決定讓他們的家充滿(mǎn)愛(ài)。
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other two also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success, "I only invited Love. Why are you coming in?"
女人出去問(wèn)三位老人：“誰(shuí)是愛(ài)？請進(jìn)來(lái)做客吧�！�
愛(ài)站起來(lái)向房子走去。另外兩位老人也站起跟在他后面。女主人很吃驚地對財富和成功說(shuō)：“我只邀請了愛(ài)，你們?yōu)槭裁闯鲆M(jìn)去？”
The old men replied together, "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would have stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever he goes, we go with him."
三位老人一起答道：“如果你只請了財富或成功，那么其余的兩個(gè)就會(huì )留在外面。但是你邀請了愛(ài)，無(wú)論他到哪兒，我們都會(huì )跟著(zhù)。哪里有愛(ài)，哪里就有財富和成功�！�
