一、教材分析
1.教材地位
Unit 1 How often do you exercise ? 是八年級教材的起始單元,起著(zhù)承上啟下的作用,在七年級所學(xué)內容的基礎上,進(jìn)一步學(xué)習和運用一般現在時(shí),表活動(dòng)頻率的功能句How do you ...?及相關(guān)詞匯。 Section B 1a---2c 是在對Section A 進(jìn)行了感知和體驗的`基礎上,更進(jìn)一步落實(shí)聽(tīng),說(shuō),寫(xiě)的訓練,從而達到學(xué)以至用的目的。
2.教學(xué)目標
1)知識目標
詞匯:學(xué)習并掌握 junk food , milk ,coffee , chip , cola , chocolate , drink , health , how many , interviewer.
功能句:學(xué)習并掌握 How often ...? It's good for . . .?
2) 能力目標
運用所學(xué)詞匯,短語(yǔ),及句型 進(jìn)行自由交際的能力。
聽(tīng)短文,快速捕捉信息的能力。
聯(lián)系實(shí)際,運用所學(xué)知識寫(xiě)作的能力。
3)情感目標
培養學(xué)生良好的飲食,運動(dòng)等生活習慣,保持身體健康。

二、教法與學(xué)法
1. 詞匯教學(xué)時(shí),采用圖片及實(shí)物等直觀(guān)教學(xué)法,直觀(guān)形象,易于接受。
2. 功能句How often . . . ?練習和運用,采用情景交際和任務(wù)教學(xué)法。教師創(chuàng )設情景,分配任務(wù);學(xué)生自主探究,小組合作,從而學(xué)習,掌握并運用功能句進(jìn)行交際的能力。
3. 聽(tīng)力訓練時(shí), 指導學(xué)生先感知問(wèn)題,再有目的的去聽(tīng)。根據學(xué)生聽(tīng)的情況,適當調整聽(tīng)的速度,確保聽(tīng)的效果。
三、教學(xué)過(guò)程
環(huán)節1 熱身與復習
1.Word competition
全班同學(xué)分成4組,每組各出代表到黑板上,默寫(xiě)出表飲食的名詞和頻率副詞,其余同學(xué)寫(xiě)在練習本上,看哪一組同學(xué)在規定的時(shí)間內,寫(xiě)的最多,最好。這樣既復習了舊知識,又為學(xué)習和運用新知識打下了基礎。
2. Free talk
3---5組同學(xué),運用Section A所學(xué)知識,進(jìn)行自由對話(huà),其余同學(xué)認真聽(tīng),并根據聽(tīng)的內容進(jìn)行問(wèn)答或轉述。

1. Learn the new words
以舊引新,利用實(shí)物和圖片教學(xué)新詞匯 junk food , milk ,coffee , chip , cola, chocolate , drink
2. Look and match
Match the words with the pictures. Ss do by themselves , then check the answers .
3.Read and write the new words .

1. Presentation
Show a picture of milk and ask the students
T:Do you like milk ?
Ss:Yes , I do .
T:How often do you drink milk ?
Ss:I drink it every day / morning / night/ twice a day 。。。
當有學(xué)生說(shuō)I never drink it 。 I don’t like it 。老師可以說(shuō) I want you to drink milk 。 It’s good for your health 。Drinking milk is good for our health 。

2. Practice
Read the conversation in 1b , understand the meaning of " want sb. to do sth. " and " be good for " , Let the students make sentences .
Talk about the pictures in 1a in pairs .
Make up their own conversations in pairs

2.Listen and fill in the blanks
First listen and write ,then listen and check .
因為在2 中已經(jīng)聽(tīng)兩遍了,所以,這一環(huán)節可以邊聽(tīng)邊寫(xiě),再聽(tīng)檢查。要根據學(xué)生聽(tīng)的情況,適當調整聽(tīng)的速度。
3.Listen and repeat , and then read by themselves.

1.Modle
Imagine the teacher is a interviewer, one student is Katrina or Jim . Make a interview.
2. Students work in pairs .

1.Remember the words ,phrases and the sentences。
2.Writing
課下采訪(fǎng)你喜歡的老師, 記下他/她 的性格愛(ài)好, 起居時(shí)間,飲食習慣, 運動(dòng)頻率等。 寫(xiě)一篇70 詞左右的短文。
