（一） 教學(xué)內容

1． 本課是Unit 2 heroes lesson 7 sports stars 的第一課時(shí)，前一兩課分別介紹了national hero and history makers，這三篇文章的主題都是hero，但涉及的領(lǐng)域不同，它們融會(huì )貫通，承上啟下，融為一體。

2． 本課是介紹sports stars，是學(xué)生特別感興趣的話(huà)題，前部分需要介紹部分體育明星，讓學(xué)生對他們自己喜歡的明星進(jìn)行描述，后一部分是介紹venus and serena williams 這兩姐妹的背景，成功之路等。

3． 本課文出現了較多的定語(yǔ)從句，還有生詞較多（有些單詞表沒(méi)有而初中又沒(méi)有學(xué)過(guò)），還有一些專(zhuān)有名詞，在這樣的困難前提下，我通過(guò)網(wǎng)頁(yè)的展示，圖文并茂，對一些背景知識進(jìn)行介紹，除了豐富學(xué)生的知識面，拓寬學(xué)生對體育特別是網(wǎng)球的了解，讓學(xué)生了解體育明星們的成長(cháng)之路，渲染出一種拼搏向上的氣氛。

（二） 學(xué)生分析

1． 組成情況

高一（1）班的學(xué)生年齡都在15－16歲，而且是美術(shù)特長(cháng)班，學(xué)生們的思維活躍，反應敏捷，勇于表達自己的想法和意見(jiàn)，但由于初中的知識基礎打得不扎實(shí)，而且缺乏主動(dòng)學(xué)習的能動(dòng)性，自學(xué)能力差，對學(xué)習沒(méi)有持有探究性和方向性，也沒(méi)有養成良好英語(yǔ)學(xué)習習慣，所以學(xué)習成績(jì)不太理想。

2． 學(xué)生的知識與技能水平

這一屆的高一適逢區屬中學(xué)擴招，所以留下來(lái)的學(xué)生都是比較一般的同學(xué)，基礎知識比較薄弱，甚至連音標都不會(huì )讀，詞匯的掌握范圍狹窄，影響了閱讀，聽(tīng)力和作文。學(xué)生的表達能力還是停留在比較低級的水平，面對每幅圖片或某個(gè)主題只能說(shuō)出一兩句話(huà)，而且在閱讀上，未能掌握泛讀和精讀的技巧和方法，課后的預習和復習能力較差，缺乏總結歸納的能力。

3． 學(xué)生已掌握的學(xué)習策略

盡管學(xué)生的知識和技能水平一般，但經(jīng)過(guò)了一定時(shí)間的訓練后，他們還是掌握了group work, using the culture and background knowledge的閱讀技巧。

（三） 教學(xué)目標

1． 學(xué)生能用英語(yǔ)對自己最喜歡的體育明星進(jìn)行描述，表達出他們對體育明星們的品德，成績(jì)和精神進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單評論�？梢砸�求學(xué)生使用表達自己觀(guān)點(diǎn)的詞匯，如：In my opinion, I agree, I don’t agree等

2． 通過(guò)閱讀文章，學(xué)生進(jìn)行true or false判斷和進(jìn)行選擇的方式對課文進(jìn)行進(jìn)一步理解，以便提高學(xué)生的閱讀水平。

3． 通過(guò)短片和圖畫(huà)去了解體育明星們的風(fēng)采和成績(jì)，對他們進(jìn)行課外延伸，讓學(xué)生既了解體育也體會(huì )高尚的體育精神，德育滲透到教學(xué)中。

4． 通過(guò)課文復習一般過(guò)去時(shí)和現在完成時(shí)的用法。

5． 學(xué)生運用所學(xué)的單詞，詞組和句子寫(xiě)出自己心目中的體育明星。

（四） 教學(xué)策略

1． 教學(xué)方法：使用交際法，充分調動(dòng)學(xué)生的積極性，積極參與到課堂教學(xué)中，通過(guò)師生互動(dòng)，小組討論的途徑，完成各種任務(wù)，以達到完成教學(xué)任務(wù)的途徑。

2． 使用多媒體教學(xué)，通過(guò)圖文影片，讓學(xué)生輕松掌握課文。

3． 備課資源：體育明星圖片資料，新單詞詞組的解析，音樂(lè )等。

（五） 教學(xué)過(guò)程

第一步 導入

T: Good morning, Everyone! Could you sleep well? If you couldn’t, you should do more sports which will help you to sleep. So do you like doing sports?

Ss: Yes.

T: what are they? What kind of sports do you like to do?

Ss: basketball, football, badminton,table tennis, jogging………

T: As you like sports, you may know some famous sports stars. Who is your favourite sports star?

Now I would like to show some pictures. You will see your favourite sports heroes.

( 用網(wǎng)頁(yè)的形式呈現圖片，讓學(xué)生邊看邊了解他們喜歡的體育明星，然后，以小組討論的方式，使用表達意見(jiàn)的詞組，如I agree, I think, I don’t agree, in my opinion等，然后選幾組進(jìn)行演示，發(fā)表自己的看法。還有通過(guò)看圖片，呈現出新單詞，加深他們對新單詞的認識和理解，為下一步的閱讀掃除障礙)

T: Everyone has his own favourite sports stars. As we admire their sports skill and their wonderful performance, we should learn from their spirit of trying best to do everything. As we know, it’s not easy for everyone even the sportsman to achieve in a game or to become a sports star. They need much practice and much sweater. Today I want to talk about two unusual sisters from America. They do well in tennis and win many champions. They are Venus and Serena Williams. Now let’s look at how they can succeed.

第二步 介紹文章人物

T: Venus and Serena Williams are the two youngest of five sisters. The others are Yetunde, Isha, and Lyndrea. Their father started teaching them tennis when they were four years old. Venus and Serena play tennis professionally- a sport in which very few people of African descent are involved. Venus’s first singles title was the IGA Tennis Classic in 1998.

第三步 閱讀文章

（1） First Reading

呈現出七題true or false question ， 然后讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行快速閱讀，完成這項任務(wù)。

(1) Venus is third and Serena is eleventh now in the world.

(2) The two sisters could practise tennis in a safe and quiet place.

(3) At first the two sisters lived in a place full of drugs and violence.

(4) When Venus and Serena were young, they began to be trained by their father.

(5) The two sisters studied in the high school.

(6) Venus played in a big event in 1996.

(2) Second Reading

學(xué)生通過(guò)first reading,完成了七題 true or false question后，基本對課文有一定的了解，然后呈現出五道選擇填空，要求學(xué)生再進(jìn)行第二次閱讀，對課文進(jìn)行更深入的了解。

通過(guò)兩次閱讀讓學(xué)生對課文熟悉，訓練學(xué)生的閱讀速度和解題技巧，最后通過(guò)work in pairs，以培養學(xué)生的歸納能力為目的，要求學(xué)生歸納每段的主題。

第四步 鞏固練習

呈現課文里出現的重點(diǎn)詞組，然后通過(guò)選詞填空，進(jìn)行對語(yǔ)言運用能力提高，區分它們的用法，最后學(xué)生one by one 地說(shuō)出答案。

第五步 分組討論

為提高學(xué)生對生活中的熱點(diǎn)問(wèn)題發(fā)表自己觀(guān)點(diǎn)的能力，提出話(huà)題“what’s the advantage and the disadvantage of being a sports star”，把全班同學(xué)分成若干個(gè)小組，每個(gè)小組找一名記錄員，記錄組員的意見(jiàn)，然后分別提交，進(jìn)行匯總，全班討論。

2．Fast reading 5’ （1） 要求學(xué)生快速通讀全文，并給每段寫(xiě)出主題。

（2） 提問(wèn)學(xué)生，老師總結并課件顯示。 為每個(gè)環(huán)節的理解和展開(kāi)做鋪墊 整體理解課文，梳理清楚課文線(xiàn)索。

Careful reading

10’ 課件顯示七道true or false question,還有五題multiple choice. 學(xué)生認真通讀全文，然后個(gè)別回答后，全班回答。在判斷對錯時(shí)，要說(shuō)出理由。 為下步的討論話(huà)題做準備 培養學(xué)生自主探究的能力。理解細節。熟悉課文。加強記憶。

4．Dealing with difficult points 2’ 在閱讀過(guò)程中遇到的有主從句，短語(yǔ)搭配等語(yǔ)法點(diǎn)，由課件呈現，學(xué)生看著(zhù)老師的分析進(jìn)行理解，掌握。 幫助理解課文 解決文章難點(diǎn)；加深對定語(yǔ)從句的認識

5．Have a quiz

5’ 以課文里面出現的重要語(yǔ)法點(diǎn)和詞組，通過(guò)課件顯示，以選擇填空和完成句子的形式，學(xué)生作答，最后反饋成績(jì)和掌握情況 復習剛學(xué)的內容 鞏固所學(xué)的內容，為將來(lái)的考試作準備

6．Enjoy a flash 1’ 以flash作為引入，為討論的話(huà)題作準備 引出話(huà)題 提高學(xué)生的興趣

7．Discussion

10’ (1) 老師以課件形式提出討論的話(huà)題“what are the advantages and disadvantages of being a sports star”.引導學(xué)生進(jìn)入資料庫，從資料庫里查找自己需要的資料。

(2) 學(xué)生分成若干個(gè)小組，然后從手上查找出來(lái)的資料進(jìn)行篩選，讓后作出相應的總結。

(3) 小組派代表發(fā)言，老師歸納總結。 為寫(xiě)作提供材料 認識體育明星們的感受，學(xué)習他們有點(diǎn)，拋棄他們的缺點(diǎn)，提高自身的思想品質(zhì)

8．Summary

2’ 總結課文內容，語(yǔ)言知識和指出體育英雄們的何種品質(zhì)值得學(xué)習。 點(diǎn)明旨意 鞏固知識，加強素質(zhì)培養
