(本課選自仁愛(ài)版英語(yǔ)七年級下冊第6單元第3話(huà)題Section B)

一、教學(xué)目標

1.復習Section A中學(xué)過(guò)的問(wèn)路、指路用語(yǔ)。

2.認識街上常見(jiàn)的交通標志,學(xué)習關(guān)于交通設施的單詞和功能用語(yǔ)。

3.培養學(xué)生的聽(tīng)、說(shuō)能力。

4.通過(guò)對問(wèn)路、指路的學(xué)習,為學(xué)生創(chuàng )設自學(xué)、小組探究的學(xué)習情境,讓學(xué)生能在現實(shí)生活中靈活運用已學(xué)過(guò)的知識,來(lái)達到“在學(xué)中用,在用中學(xué)”的教學(xué)目的,培養學(xué)生自主學(xué)習的能力。

5.通過(guò)問(wèn)路、指路的學(xué)習,使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì )看線(xiàn)路圖;學(xué)會(huì )遵守交通規則。學(xué)生在掌握用英語(yǔ)問(wèn)路、指路的同時(shí)學(xué)會(huì )樂(lè )于助人,滲透了在幫助他人的同時(shí)也快樂(lè )自己的德育思想。

二、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)

1.教學(xué)重點(diǎn):掌握問(wèn)路、指路的句型。

2.教學(xué)難點(diǎn):讓學(xué)生能在理解的基礎上,自由靈活地進(jìn)行練習;學(xué)生在現實(shí)生活中如何能夠正確、靈活地使用問(wèn)路、指路常用語(yǔ)。

三、教學(xué)準備

錄音機、交通標志圖片、小黑板(上面畫(huà)有線(xiàn)路簡(jiǎn)圖)或一張線(xiàn)路地圖。

四、教學(xué)過(guò)程

Step 1. Review

Show the Ss the following picture(出示線(xiàn)路圖)on the blackboard. Let the Ss answer the questions according to the picture in order to check Section A.

Ask and answer in pairs like this(讓學(xué)生根據老師出示的線(xiàn)路圖進(jìn)行對話(huà)).

1. S 1: Excuse me. How can I get to …?

S 2: Go along…,turn right / left…

2. S 1: Excuse me. Which is the way to …?

S 2: Go across / ahead…take the … on the left / right.

Step 2. Presentation

1. Let the Ss listen to 1a and answer the following questions.

(1)Where does the man want to go in Dialog 1?

(2)Is the man in Dialog 2 new here?

(3)How far is it from the station to Beitai Road?

(4)Which bus can he take?

(5)Did that woman tell him about the way at last?

2. Let the Ss listen to 1a again and check the answers, then learn the new words:

until,miss,kilometer,should,change

3. The teacher and the Ss practice 1a in pairs.

4. Let the Ss find out the important sentences in this dialog. Then write them down on the blackboard.

Step 3. Consolidation

1. Ask several groups to act out 1a.

Let them pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

2. Let the Ss listen to 1b and fill in the blanks.

3. Listen to the tape again and change to check the answers.

4.Let the Ss ask the way and give directions to familiar places with their partner,make dialogs in pairs and act them out.

Step 4. Presentation

1. Let the Ss talk about the traffic signs and public facilities in 2. Learn the new words:public, light, danger.

2. The teacher shows the cards of the traffic signs(part3). Let the Ss guess how to express them in English.

3.Look at the pictures and finish part 3. Let the Ss read after the teacher.Educate the Ss to follow the traffic rules, and to become an eligible student.

1. Act out the dialog according to the following pictures.

T: Suppose you are a driver, What do you do when you see the signs in part 3? Discuss in groups.

S 1: When I see this sign “Turn left”, I can turn left.

S 2: When I see this sign “No parking”, I can’t park my car.

2. Pair work. One student describes the sign and the other draws or finds out the corresponding pictrure in 3.
