　　to的這兩種含義比較特殊，應重點(diǎn)記憶：

　　1)“歸于，屬于”, 強調“一對一”的關(guān)系。

　　2)“ 隨同,伴隨，按照，配合”。

　　sing / dance to the music隨著(zhù)音樂(lè )唱歌 / 跳舞

　　2. experience

　　1) n. “經(jīng)驗(不可數), 經(jīng)歷(可數)”。

　　a child's first experience of snow一個(gè)孩子對雪的初次體驗

　　Yesterday afternoon Dad was telling me about his experiences as a young man. 昨天下午，爸爸給我講述他年輕時(shí)的經(jīng)歷。

　　2) v. “經(jīng)歷, 體驗”。

　　He experienced all sorts of difficulties and hardships. 他經(jīng)歷過(guò)各種艱難困苦。

　　3) adj. “有經(jīng)驗的”。

　　He is much experienced in teaching. 他有豐富的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗。

　　3. particular

　　1)“特別的，個(gè)別的”，強調與同一團體、范疇或種類(lèi)的其他部分的分離和區分。

　　I have nothing particular to do today. 今天我沒(méi)有特別的事情要做。

　　2)“挑剔的，苛求的”，通常指過(guò)分地注意或涉及細節和細微區別。

　　He is very particular about his food. 他吃東西很講究/挑剔。

　　be particular about(講究/挑剔)與in particular(特別地)是比較常用的習慣用法。

　　4. advance

　　該詞的關(guān)鍵是要注意它作動(dòng)詞時(shí)的不同含義,記憶時(shí)要把握住其本意“(使)向……前/上” ,再按漢語(yǔ)習慣靈活地翻譯。

　　advance the growth of rice促進(jìn)水稻生長(cháng)

　　He was advanced to the rank of captain. 他被提升為上尉。

　　As the wages advanced, so did the cost of living. 隨著(zhù)工資的提高, 生活費用也提高了。

　　另外,它的形容詞形式為：advanced “高級的，先進(jìn)的”。
