1.基數詞表達法.

基數詞在第六單元中已經(jīng)介紹了1-19, 這里主要介紹20-100的基數詞.

A. 十位數的數詞, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety中詞的拼寫(xiě)是沒(méi)有規律的, 特別要注意forty這個(gè)詞.

B. 21-29,31-39…91-99的表達方法是整十位數加個(gè)位數,中間用符號 “-”連接.例如:twenty-one

C. 100可以說(shuō)a hundred, 或one hundred; 200, 300 表達為two hundred, three hundred. 要注意的是不管hundred前是什么數字, hundred 不能用復數,加s.

D. 如果要表示122, 234等這樣的數字, 則要注意在hundred 后面用連詞and, 如123為one hundred and twenty-three.

E. 基數詞只能修飾可數名詞, 要注意數詞和后面名詞在數上的一致. 如:

thirteen boys 十三個(gè)男生

2.動(dòng)詞give 的基本用法.

A. give有許多意思,最基本的意思是 “給”.如果表示 “把某物給某人”可以說(shuō)give sth. to sb. 或give sb. sth. 例如: Please give the watch to Jim.=Please give Jime this watch. 請把這塊表給Jim.

B. 這兩種表達法結構上有所差異,第二種表達中Jim是間接賓語(yǔ),前面不能帶to.

3.It’s time to go to school. 該上學(xué)了.

A. It’s time to do…這一句型表示 “該做…的時(shí)候了”.其中it表示時(shí)間,不能用別的詞來(lái)代替, time前不帶冠詞.

B. 這一句型中的不定式短語(yǔ)很多時(shí)候可以用介詞for+名詞代替. 如:It‘s time for school.也是該上學(xué)了的意思.

4.about表示 “大約”

about 表示 “大約”可以用在數詞前, 如:

It’s about five o’clock. 大約五點(diǎn)了.

5.from…to 從…到…

可用來(lái)表示從每一時(shí)間到另一個(gè)時(shí)間;從一個(gè)數字到另一個(gè)數字, 從一地點(diǎn)到另一地點(diǎn). 如: We play football from 4:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon.

我們從下午4:40到5:30踢足球.

6.play的幾種用法.

A. play可以表示 “做游戲”或 “做些運動(dòng)” 如:

Let’s play a game of table tennis. 我們打一場(chǎng)乒乓球賽吧.

B. play后面可直接加表示球類(lèi)的名詞, 這樣用時(shí),表示球類(lèi)的名詞前面不帶任何冠詞其它限定詞, 這些名詞也不用復數形式. 如:

Let’ s go and play football. 我們去踢足球吧.

7.between…and…在…和…之間.

between表示在兩者之間,表示在兩個(gè)同類(lèi)物之間可在between后加復數名詞, 表示在兩個(gè)不同物或兩點(diǎn)之間咳用between…and….如:

(1) The map if China is between the two windows.

那幅地圖在那兩個(gè)窗戶(hù)之間.

(2) Tom sits between Lucy and Lily.

Tom 坐在Lucy和 Lily之間.

8.take off脫掉

take off 和put on 互為反義詞組. 兩者都是動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ),后面要帶賓語(yǔ). 如果賓語(yǔ)是名詞可以放在后面,也可以放在兩詞之間, 如果賓語(yǔ)是代詞,則必須放在中間, 不能放在后面. 如:

(1) Take off your coat.= Take your coat off.

把你的外套脫掉.

(2) He puts on his hat and then takes it off.

他戴上帽子,然后又脫掉.
