本節課總目標描述
通過(guò)本節課的學(xué)習學(xué)生能掌握以下基本句型:How often do you brush your teeth? I brush my teeth twice a day. 本節課的總體設計體現了新課程標準中的從學(xué)生的學(xué)習興趣、生活體驗和認知水平出發(fā),倡導體驗、實(shí)踐、參與、合作與交流的學(xué)習方式和任務(wù)型的教學(xué)途徑的教學(xué)理念。
預想的效果是:學(xué)生感受到課堂45分鐘大多數時(shí)間是在做一件有意義而且較為感興趣的事,這種愉悅的心情促使學(xué)生自主、創(chuàng )造性地完成任務(wù),即培養了學(xué)生運用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行實(shí)際交際的能力。這種體驗和感悟是新課程標準的基本要求。

This experiment simulates the protection power of Fluoride.
What you’ll need:
1 bottle of Fluoride rinse solution (available from your dentist, local dental supply company and some pharmacies)
2 eggs 1 bottle of white vinegar 3 containers
What to do:
Pour four inches of Fluoride rinse solution into one of the containers and then place an egg in the solution. Let it sit for five minutes. Remove the egg. Pour four inches of vinegar into each of the remaining two containers. Put the egg that has been treated with the Fluoride into one container of vinegar and the untreated egg in the other container of vinegar.
What will happen:
One egg will start to bubble as the vinegar (an acid) starts to attack the minerals in the egg shell. Which egg do you think will start to bubble?

首先由一個(gè)小的實(shí)驗引入本課,這樣可以引起學(xué)生的興趣,并能幫助學(xué)生意識到保護牙齒的重要性。并能讓學(xué)生的注意力馬上集中到課上來(lái)。第二步,通過(guò)pair work讓學(xué)生互相了解彼此的刷牙習慣并比較有什么不同。第三步,讓學(xué)生小組討論出什么是保護牙齒的正確方法。 并通過(guò)問(wèn)卷的形式,在小組內評選出保護牙齒的小衛士。
通過(guò)本節課的學(xué)習學(xué)生應用所學(xué)的句型解決生活中實(shí)際的問(wèn)題。并向學(xué)生介紹中西文化關(guān)于牙齒保護的不同。
