（1）Thank sb. for doing sth. 意為“因…而感謝某人”，相當于Thanks for doing sth. 原句=Thanks for telling me about the Mid-Autumn Festival.此句型中的for為介詞，表示原因，后接名詞、代詞的賓格或動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ)。例如：

Thank you for helping me.謝謝你的幫助。

Thank you for your help. 謝謝你幫助了我。

（2）tell sb. about sth. 意為“告訴某人關(guān)于某事的情況”，about為介詞，意為“關(guān)于”。例如：

Can you tell us about your school?你能告訴我們關(guān)于你們學(xué)校的情況嗎？

除此以外，start還可以表示“（機器）的開(kāi)動(dòng)”。例如：

I can’t start that car.我不能發(fā)動(dòng)那輛車(chē)。

Here be…意為“這兒有……，這里是……”。Be動(dòng)詞的形式取決于后面的主語(yǔ)是單數還是復數。例如：

句中some是表示“建議”。英語(yǔ)中，當期待對方作出肯定的回答，或在表示“請求，建議”的疑問(wèn)句中，用some而不用any。例如：
